As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful transition from product design to production, by focusing on the development and optimization of electronic manufacturing processes. You will report directly to our Director of Operations, and you'll work out of our Ciudad Juarez, Chih. location.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the implementation of efficient manufacturing processes and procedures. This includes selecting appropriate equipment, tools, and methodologies to optimize production.
- Provide strong and effective leadership to the manufacturing engineering team, setting clear objectives, and guiding the team toward achieving manufacturing goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless transitions from the design phase to the manufacturing phase. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, advanced manufacturing engineering, quality control, and production, to ensure that products can be manufactured with precision and consistency.
- Evaluate and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce production costs. This includes identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and monitoring their impact on production.
- Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Identify root causes and implement solutions to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly as issues and bottlenecks arise during production.
- Provide technical guidance and support for your team, offering guidance and support to address complex engineering challenges and facilitate the resolution of technical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing process, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering graduated preferably in electronics, mechatronic or mechanical-electrical Engineering
- 10+ years' experience in electronic products manufacturing engineering
- ** Knowledge of IPC 610, IPC 7711 & IPC 7721, Strict PM schedule follow-up**:
- ** Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with your team members and cross-functional partners.**:
- ** In dept knowledge of SMT, PTH, TEST and automation processes**:
- Exceptional collaboration skills are highly valued, as you will inspire and guide your peers, fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Prior experience in product manufacturing engineering is essential to effectively support your team and manage the manufacturing process.
- A deep understanding of various manufacturing processes and techniques is highly valued for process optimization.
- Track record of improving manufacturing processes and reducing costs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in identifying and resolving manufacturing issues.
- Must be very hands on, good for teaching and coaching and with excellent leadership skills
- Disciplined and organized
- Preferably certified as Lean six sigma
- Good problem-solving skills and project management
- Proficient in minitab, CAD, Solid works and SAP
- Bilingual Spanish/English
