Canadian startup company that will manufacture sports equipment, requests**:MANUFACTURING ENGINEER.**
Reporting to the Industrialization Manager and/or Site General Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer provides product, process, and manufacturing support to the manufacturing site. The Manufacturing Engineer will interact closely with the other Operations teams and Product Commercialization Team to enable maximum efficiency and execute project deliverables at the manufacturing site.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) combined with 5 to 10 years of manufacturing experience with an important understanding of manufacturing site start up. Any other pertinent experience may be considered.
- **Bilingualism (English and Spanish).**:
- **Experience in Composite/Pre preg Carbon Fiber, layup sheet analysis, liquid paint, molding process, tooling design**:
- **Experience in composite (thermoset and thermoplastic) is an asset.**:
- **Global thinking and available to travel internationally 2 to 3 times a year (Visa and Passport).**:
- **Experience in automation process.**:
- **At least 5 years of related job experience in a manufacturing setting.**:
- Experience in Leading complex projects and managing project plan, including risk management and communication, consumer Products Goods and/or sporting goods is an asset and additive manufacturing (3D Printing) is an asset.
- Familiarity with the following software and operation system: AutoCAD, PRO ENGINEER, MSOFFICE, MS PROJECT, (ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR is not essential but an asset).
