We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Responsibilities:Act as first level escalation point for manufacturing/process issues.Lead efforts to initiate both temporary and permanent manufacturing changes.Work with local Flextronics teams and Sensus cross-functional teams to assist toward resolution of production challenges.Define and implement manufacturing process from new product launch to full release.Provide and review hourly capacity through cycle time analysis.Document and maintain process maps and design of floor layout.Create/ modify/ review manufacturing work instructions.Assist to maintain previously designed and deployed manufacturing equipment.Continuously refine and improve manufacturing processes, methods, and metrics to ultimately reduce product cost.Identify, analyze, root cause, and initiate corrective action when product design failures are uncovered by the test and/or process.Lead/Partner with LSS (Lean Six Sigma) counterparts for continuous improvement initiatives and cost savings opportunities.Analyze and quantify data to resolve process, test, and operational issues.DFx (Design for manufacturability/assembly)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in EngineeringMinimum 3 years of professional experienceKnowledge and experience with Product/Process EngineeringStrong verbal and written communication skills in both English and SpanishKnowledge of manufacturing assembly processes: soldering (including solder joint characteristics), conformal coating, adhesive bonding, welding, and precision mechanical assemblyStrong understanding of IPC (Institute of Printed Circuit Board) standardsExperience with Design of Experiment (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean Six Sigma concepts.MS Office software applicationsStrong analytical, technical, problem-solving skillsMust have ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Self-motivated; able to demonstrate initiative and operate independently.Desire and ability to learn new tools and design techniques.Ability to evaluate and make recommendations on cost control, reliability and manufacturability issues and maintains aggressive development schedules.Display organizational and leadership skills in a project team environment.Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use
