**Responsibilities**:
Job purpose:
Establishes controls to ensure that each workstation has safe conditions, tools and tooling suitable and in good condition for the manufacture of products.
Main responsabilites:
- Creates and maintains control of all tooling for production (identification, storage and maintenance).
- Creates and maintains tooling drawings.
- Designs and improves production tooling.
- Designs and maintains protective guards and guards in good condition.
- Designs and improves benches, tables and workstations considering ergonomics and efficiency.
- Designs assembly devices, pokayokes, gages, etc.
- Intervenes in the solution of problems with machines and equipment, modifications and adaptations of feeding systems, conveyors, and related to material handling.
- Intervenes in the adjustment and commissioning of new equipment and in the training of personnel in the operation of the machines, tooling devices and tooling involved in the process.
- Creates and updates standard operating procedures and visual aids due to new equipment or processes and/or changes and improvements to existing ones.
- Takes time and moves to update process capability and identifies opportunities for improvement and line balancing.
- Creates layouts for new equipment installation, or equipment relocation and line balancing.
- TPM, creates machine inspection and lubrication programmes and trains operators in the task.
- Ensures all equipment has Plefligth Check List and Lock out / Tag out board.
- Designs and maintains the status of protective guards.
- Creates and updates the Standard Operating Procedure for the specific activities of this position.
- Establishes annual objectives.
- Creates performance reports and publishes them as often as required.
- Complies with our EHS policy and internal safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Experience in the same position, 3 years
- Intermediate English
- Knowledge of CI tools
- Knowledge of CNC programming desirable
- A person who enjoys challenges and leadership
