We are looking for a process/manufacturing engineer for the first shift. We emphasize innovation by challenging ourselves to do things differently; integrity by doing the right thing in a transparent and honest way; and adaptability to change and diverse needs, treasuring flexibility.Duties and Responsibilities:Transfer and deliver new processes, including new capital equipment for production capabilities expansion.Establish standards for operation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment and products.Identify, evaluate, and propose improvements to existing processes, tools, equipment, and products based on product safety, quality needs, ergonomics, environmental considerations, and costs.Maintain labor standards in MRP.Develop experimental design and statistical process control tools to assure process reliability, sustainability, and safety.Evaluate fitness for use of materials, tools, processes, tests, and products.Design, execute, and analyze experiments based on statistical techniques.Develop risk management, troubleshoot, and refine manufacturing processes and equipment.Document work via reports, technology notebooks, and design file entries.Develop procedures, train other associates, and assist other technical associates.Hands-on involvement with all phases of assigned projects.Work effectively in team situations as well as independently.Knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment is desired.Perform other related duties as assigned or required based on education, knowledge, and previous experience.Minimum Requirements:Industrial Engineering or similar degree - Cedula Profesional.Excellent communication skills - English 80%+.At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Valid US Visa.Advanced English level.Experience in lean manufacturing tools and techniques.MS Office, ERP advanced user (IFS or Epicor is a plus).Desirable experience in sheet metal processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
