Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer based in Juarez North, reporting to the Product Engineering Services Manager.
What a typical day looks like:
- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques.
- Design manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
- Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills.
- Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products.
- Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures).
- Analyze and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confer with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Coordinate with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and respond to customer requests.
- Provide information for management decisions from a technical and cost perspective.
- Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Intermediate-advanced English.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of electrical testing.
- Leadership.
