Manufacturing Engineer

Manages the launch and start-up of new manufacturing lines, works with APQP multidisciplinary tear new product launches and engineering changes.Responsibr defining and maintaining the manufacturing and machining processes, keeping as a priority the safety of personnel, product, environmental care and the correct use of company resources and complying with the procedures of the management system.Creates and maintains up-to-date manufacturing processes.Clearly identifies customer requirements.

Analyzes manufacturing processes and compliance with requirements.Ensures that all new or existing machinery, equipment and documentation within area of responsibility complies with applicable safety, ergonomic, hygiene and environmental requirements.Develops and maintains internal operating standards and goodmanufacturing practices, using metrics and loss and deviation analysis to minimize waste and rework operations, maximizing utilization of installed capacity, material and resources.Supports in an integral way using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and TOC tools to achieve tlfillment of the company's goals and objectives set in the Business Plan.Identifies and promotes product design changes to make necessary process improvements based on Customer requirements as well as improvements initiatom within the company.Develops and/or coordinates departmental or organizational improvement projects.Implements statistical process control in operations as required.Maintains constant communication with all those positions related to thenctions and, if required, with the Customer and/or Suppliers.
