- Create Routers for new products. - Modify routers when necessary. - Identify alternate routes for OSP (Outside Processes) cases. - Create rework paths for the NCR or Upgrade product. - Perform internal audits of jobs. - Generate work instructions and visual aids as necessary. - Propose improvements in tooling and processes. - Identify engineering changes necessary for the processes and / or products that require it. - Support the implementation of authorized engineering changes. - Find alternate material options for products. - Implement projects for continuous improvement in the area. - Provide follow-up to CARs and PARs related to engineering. - Manage cost reduction projects. - Provide technical support to manufacturing shop as needed. - Comply with all applicable NOV processes, procedures and work instructions. - Support on training activities. - Participate actively in solving daily problems. - Make effective use of available resources. - Identify and propose improvements to the area's processes. - Interact with other departments to deal with situations. - Provide data for area indicators and metrics. - Work safely and using the required PPE when necessary. - Implement the 6S's in your area of work.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or industrial engineering. - 3 plus years of manufacturing experience in the Metal Mechanic Industry. - Ability to read technical drawings with a strong attention to detail. - Microsoft proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Good interactive skills for facilitating team solutions. - Analytical with an excellent attention to detail.
