Reporting to the Engineering Manager you as a Manufacturing Engineer will be Develop manufacturing systems that meet quality and capacity required by the customer, maintaining, and establishing operational methods and work standards.
Provide engineering services implementing standardization (Maintenance plans, technical training, analysis and troubleshooting, capacity enhancement, improved technologies, training manuals) and develop continuous improvement strategies.
About the job:
- Work with the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, and Engineers and assigned to the support area to generate and track new business opportunities.- Propose and justify improvements to the products and / or processes to reduce costs and increase productivity.- Develop and establish the distribution and manufacturing process flow.- Work with the Design Engineer to ensure proper product manufacturing.- Design and manufacture send production support tools to improve process ergonomics and reduce downtime.- Test and evaluate prototypes of new models.- Submit and implement ECO'S & PCN 's.- Develop staff (training, administration)- Develop manufacturing systems that meet quality and capacity required by the customer, maintaining and establishing operational methods and work standards.- Coordination of transfer of equipment between different plants.- Support production lines.- Preparation of documents to facilitate the process of making the product (Letter of process, visual aids, work instructions, operating manuals,).- Analyze, fix the flaws in the process.- Investigate the root cause of customer complaints and submit corrective / preventive actions to prevent recurrence.- Development of PCN's when deviations are necessary.- Perform any other activity that warrants his position, or which is assigned by the immediate supervisor Represent the Department of Engineering Boards "MRB".- Complete records quality system corresponding to its function.- Research customer complaints CA web's area.- Reply corrective actions derived from ISO Internal Audits and External System.- Understand and implement the quality policy, environmental management and safety hygiene.- Generate deviations (as applicable) and manufacturing tasks to prevent recurrence.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
About you:
- Bachelor or university degree in Engineering.- English Fluency (90%)- Experience in engineering change management Knowledge of computer packages for solving management problems and Auto Cad Management and project management.- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.- Knowledge of cores tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA) Knowledge of balancing lines, standard work, material flows.
