**Manufacturing Engineer**
**Description**:
Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Responsible for process improvements to reduce scrap and increase throughput.

**Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer**:
**General Responsibilities**:
A Protev Quality Engineers will support and help to create solutions as part of an engineering team directly to several clients.
They work to find defects, determine the causes of those defects and provide solutions to defected problems.
The Quality Engineer has several other duties and responsibilities, some of which include:
- Development of the FTY (First Time Yield), Development of routings in SAP
- Design, development and control of process instructions
- Design and validation of tooling
- Design and validation of fixtures
- Balancing of lines due to change in requirements
- Organize the tests and validations on the line
- Control of SPC in the line
- Design of the workstation layout
- Maintenance of PFMEA's and Flow Charts
- ECR/PCR Management
- Provide support to the line in problem solving
- Provide support in project coordination activities
- Provide support and training to employees, as required
- All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area)
**Position Requirements**:

- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree (5 years of experience working as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in in the field setting can be substituted for the degree)
- Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant working experience
- Quality and environmental systems
- Problem solving techniques
- Communication techniques
- Training in the work area
- Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE)
- Lean manufacturing
- Development and structuring of PFMEA 's
- Control Plan
- **International travel for this position is required**
- **Valid Visa and Passport**
