.Your tasks- Assisting in the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing workflows and improve production efficiency.- Conducting time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for process improvement.- Assisting in the development and documentation of manufacturing work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).- Participating in the analysis of production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.- Supporting the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.- Assisting in the implementation of quality control measures and conducting quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing projects and Six Sigma activities.- Assisting in the coordination of production schedules and material requirements to meet production targets and customer demands.- Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.- Contributing to cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization.- Assisting in the implementation of safety protocols and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.- Collaborating with the engineering team to support new product introductions and the scaling up of manufacturing processes.- Documenting and reporting project progress, findings, and recommendations to the manufacturing engineering team.
**Profile**:- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.- Technical skills: Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for creating and modifying engineering drawings.
Familiarity with manufacturing software tools, such as ERP systems or process simulation software, is a plus.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles, including machining, assembly, and quality control.- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and use statistical methods to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or process improvement methodologies is beneficial.- Problem-solving abilities: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when faced with challenges.- Communication and teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document procedures, and present findings.
