This manager will define and execute the strategic plan for engineering and drive timely and high-quality execution of projects through the management and mentoring of direct reports was well as the utilization of personal expertise. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen technical competencies and collaboration with other teams. Manage, mentor and develop engineers.**Roles & Responsibilities**:- Prepare and lead the execution of the strategic planning of the department.- Leads and manages the operation of engineering department to ensure goal/objective achievement directly or through subordinate staff.- Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control.- Creates, manages, and controls department budget.- Manages large projects: Organization, definition, planning, implementation, and control.- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
