Main ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Engineer for Tractors assembly process (Serie 5000, 6000 and HVC).Manufacturing Module Owner for Tractor Assembly (Engine, Drivetrain, Operator Station, Chassis, Assembly Line, Tier 2 Ops).Design, Develop and Implement Manufacturing Process for Current and New Tractors (OFP & EPDP).Working with BIT Strategy (Business Improvement Team) to Achieve Operational Goals in Safety, Quality, Deliveries and Efficiency.Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs.Provides support and troubleshooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyzes data and implements solutions.Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of moderate scope. Designs operations layouts. Improves material flow and material presentation.Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.Leads team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency of moderate scope.Leads analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling and simulations.What Skills You Need2+ years of experience in a similar position.Experience implementing lean manufacturing strategies.Experience in developing and implementing assembly processes.Upper Intermediate English (Spoken and written).Teamwork.Plan and Act Strategically.Capacity to identify process opportunities and improve manufacturing procedures.Innovation, identify and develop new process methodologies.What Makes You Stand OutTractor Functionality Background.Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.).Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.Enterprise Product Delivery Process Knowledge (EPDP).Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities.Working knowledge of database management tools, the various loan accounting systems, and process management systems.Knowledge of capital budgeting and capital equipment justification process.EducationBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.Inclusive Leadership feeds the World The World is counting on us to feed billions of people and build vital infrastructure in villages, towns, and megacities.
