If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer (Rework) located in Guadalajara, North Site.The Manufacturing Engineer (Rework) role involves plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.What a typical day looks like:Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques.Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills.Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans.May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products.May participate in control plan development.Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.G. specifications, procedures)Examines and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.Coordinates with customers to identify product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request.Provides information for management recommendations from a technical and technical cost perspective.Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.The experience we're looking to add to our team:Bachelor's degree in engineering in electronics, mechatronics or related.Strong experience in the electronic manufacturing industry as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Test Engineer.Advanced English (spoken and written)Strong experience in rework processes of critical components in highly complex (BGA) electronic cards
