**Title**: Manufacturing Engineer Temporary - Torreon
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila JD Shared Services - ISG
**Function**: Factory Engineering (CA)
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Support Electronics Manufacturing operations by defining/implementing processes, equipment, fixtures, and work instructions.
- Support daily operations by responding to tactical safety, process/equipment/fixtures, quality, and efficiency issues.
- Support the uptime of tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Implement preventative maintenance activities of machines, fixtures, and drivers.
- Perform continuance improvement activities to address safety, quality, and productivity.
- Conduct capital expenditure analysis and procure equipment.
**What Skills You Need**:
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- 1-2 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
- Advanced English (Spoken and written).
- Knowledge of manufacturing process, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete multiple, concurrent projects.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime (daily and weekends as needed).
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing operations.
- Experience implementing or trouble-shooting electronics manufacturing equipment.
- Working knowledge of database management tools, process, and production management systems.
- Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical).
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
**Education**:
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or 3 years of related experience.
