:
Develop / plan the process of the current programs and support new programs within the production lines established in the plant. Develop and maintain the process AMEF, flowchart, work instruction sheets and all process documentation updated on time, using the appropriate mechanisms. Design and / or make improvements to the process in tools, equipment, devices and machinery to seek efficiency in the manufacture of components. Achieve the optimal Key Performance Indicators of quality, costs, delivery times and OEE from the Manufacturing process.
**Responsibilities**:
- Determines the components and tools necessary to Definition of process flows, work methods and activities of the operational staff.
- Follow up and closure actions of Gensuite and process deviations on time.
- Achieve production goals according to the product specifications.
- Performs conventional engineering activities.
- Maintains extensive knowledge in the area of specialty and a firm understanding of the principles and practices of related specialties.
- Lead implantations of manufacturing processes with Technicians and Engineers from other areas.
- Responsible for training in and production in new equipment and / or processes
- Problem solving through analysis methods that lead to the root cause and implement sustainable corrective actions to reduce cost.
- Responsible for compliance with the department's metrics (Down time, Scrap, Change over time, Poka yokes efficiency)
- Responsible for the preparation and accomplishment of the working plan (Annual Calendar)
- Develop and maintain a sense of urgency in the activities corresponding to the position as well as with the organization in general (examples: red alerts / escalation notifications).
- Technical support management.
- Meet the needs required by the Production area.
- Responsible for the core tools (PFMEA, Diagram Flow)
- Responsible for the Job Element Sheet / Standard Work Instructions
- Needs to attend the T2 & T3 daily meeting.
- Attendance to global council meetings.
- Responsible and maintain machine set up parameters updated.
- Responsible for the welding processes on Turbo plant
- WPS and PQR development and update
- Participation in CQI audits
- All other appropriate duties when required by BorgWarner

- +5 years in Automotive Industry
- +3 years Knowledge in manufacturing or similar area
- Budget management.
- Knowledge on the following processes: welding, grinding, balancing, pressing and full assembly desirable.
