Job Description SummaryResponsible for managing in an efficient and timely manner the engineering activities such as special process, CNC programming, and process engineering. Responsible for ensuring the correct preparation, development, and qualification of new products and managing the control of the risks associated with the development of new projects.Responsible for developing the Engineering processes in accordance with applicable standards and requirements. Respect and compliance with Quality Policy, Health and Safety standards, and Quality Management System.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Accountable for the development of in-house machining capabilities and manufacturing processes (router), corresponding CNC programming, and defining the quality inspection strategy by Quality Engineering as required for the committed delivery program. Ensure standardized work process methods and practices and Lean principles are applied.Support planning for capital investments and expense management regarding installations/repairs of production and facility equipment.Responsible for initiating and overseeing complex or major improvement or change projects impacting other sections or overall delivery of metric improvement and benefits for the business, resulting in the achievement of strategic business objectives and goals.Ensure the implementation of appropriate problem recognition, root cause analysis, and TPM that integrate the philosophy/methodology of continuous improvement into the company culture. This includes guaranteeing close communication between engineering and production to avoid the repetition of the same non-conformances.Develop and execute a manufacturing engineering roadmap and strategy, including manufacturing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and process improvement to ensure the process and quality engineering can cope with the challenges initiated by strong volume growth and the requirement for future cost reductions and quality improvement.Position Minimum Required:10+ years of experience in management positions.Strong CNC background (milling, turning, robot programming) required.Advanced English.Experience with machining titanium, Inconel, or alloys.Desired Characteristics:Experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong experience in people development.Strategic thinking.Aerospace industry background is a plus.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes#J-18808-Ljbffr
