Manufacturing Engineering Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing support and direction to the new product development team for the development and integration of new product lines.
- Responsible for project management in the areas of building and procuring production equipment, tooling, fixtures, and inspection equipment.
- Works with and manages outside vendors and contractors to assure quality and compliance.
- Responsible for process improvement to optimize equipment up-time, cost, and/or quality of end product.
- Organizing cross functional team meetings with plants and vendors to evaluate design inputs, project status, and feedback.
- Managing and driving the technology roadmap and capital replacement plan.
- Maintaining awareness of the relevance and importance of activities and how each contributes to achieving quality objectives.
Ensuring customer quality standards are met.
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- 10+ years' engineering experience
- 5+ years' experience in equipment and process engineering project management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Knowledge of aluminum casting and machining
- LEAN experience
- Experience with high tolerance CNC machining
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5
- Metrology capabilities with basic instruments, such as micrometer, comparator, et al.
- Knowledge of mechatronics and manufacturing related electromechanical devices
- PLC or equivalent Computer controlled equipment software and hardware experience
- Vision Systems knowledge and experience
