Purpose of Job The Manufacturing Engineering Superintendent is responsible of ensuring the effectiveness in the attainment of Quality KPIs and clients' requirements, supported by the Process Engineering department, cycle times and critical KPIs of production processes, along with the proper management and effective leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering team, as well as the implementation of countermeasures and corrective actions derived from client and industry audits.

Ensure the Quality and Efficiency of the production process, meeting client requirements, ensuring all Internal and external Quality criteria is covered, optimizing Resources and preventing defects and scrap per machine/Workstation.
Collaborate with Manufacturing team along with maintenance personnel, Engineering, and production teams to implement improvements in machinery.
Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team in the different recurring activities in production areas, such as updates, standardization and KPI Improvement processes, cycle times, production lines balancing of Assembly, SMT, Printing, Molding and other areas.
Ensure the creation and attainment of objectives derived from the requirements of each areas' machinery.
Participate in the Quality and Improvement meetings, as well as the correct follow-up and effective closure of observations and client/IATF requirements.
Education, Experience and Knowledge Required and/or preferred level of education, knowledge and skills that are necessary.
Related Experience Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Experienced +8 years in the automotive/electronic Assembly industry, within Manufacturing areas, responsible for Engineering/technical personnel, in cross-functional projects negotiating with production and engineering management tiers.
Strong knowledge and experience complying with IATF16949 and client standards, employing Lean Six Sigma and Problem-Solving methodologies.
Knowledge of 5 S's, IPC-610, ISO9001, industry, client and Internal audits, CoreTools, measurement equipment.
Advanced English.
