**JOB PURPOSE**

**WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE**
As First-line managers are primarily responsible for overseeing a department or team of employees. In a general sense, they make sure that their team fulfills the daily and overarching goals of a given organization. Since first-line managers typically work closely with team members, they are deeply connected to organizational operations. They understand how to motivate team members effectively, track targets, take metrics, develop schedules, and ensure team members are staying focused overall.
- To achieve SU result in unit
- Leading Team of Operators
- To achieve customer service targets in unit
- To achieve safety standards in unit
- To achieve quality standards in unit
- To provide visible leadership for Factories in unit
- To manage employee relations to ensure high engagement levels in unit
- To implement agreed SU indirect structures in unit
- Manage the operations (manufacturing and maintenance) of the factory - including Raw and Pack material management
- Manage and respond on factory service levels, efficiencies, quality compliance, OSHE compliance and cost compliance
- Lead Factory improvement programs
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Support implementation of innovation within the factory and deliver to agreed ramp up plans
- Manage and improve deployment of resources, people budgets and assets, to comply with cost and financial targets
**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED**
Experiences & Qualifications
- Professional Engineering Skills (Educated to degree standard in an engineering discipline)
- 5+ Years experience of Project Engineering/ operations management/Maintenance in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment.
- Experience of Handling team of Operators and managing High speed lines
