We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Manager to be in Ciudad Juarez Chih. Salvarcar Plant. Purpose: Is responsible to direct production activities for multiple manufacturing lines to deliver products that meet quality specifications and achieve or exceed service levels and cost targets while ensuring employees are safe and follow required procedures, complying with applicable regulations and company policies.
You will be responsible for: Reviewing production schedules and coordinating manufacturing resources to ensure timely delivery of products and components, while ensuring compliance with Quality System requirements.Interacting and collaborating with other departments to solve any restrictions that may stop or slow down production, including material, personnel, equipment, and process issues.Planning budget and controlling expenses applicable to the production area to comply or exceed Business Unit financial targets.Identifying and coordinating cost reduction projects including labor productivity, land use, inventory optimization, and defects reduction, using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.Coordinating research and implementation of preventive and corrective actions that may result from production non-conformances, audit observations, CAPA, and others.Ensuring compliance with QSR, ISO, and Environment, HS requirements, as well as all applicable company procedures and policies.Providing timely and effective support for new product introductions and existing process transfers to Business Unit.Developing and maintaining department metrics to monitor performance and coordinating actions to ensure improvements.Managing employee development and maintaining updated and verified training records.Recognizing and rewarding performance and teamwork.Identifying, supporting, and solving labor issues in coordination with the Human Resources Department.Performing interviews, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning, and managing workload to monitor their development, rewarding and disciplining employees, and managing conflicts.Qualifications: BS in Engineering or Business Administration.Master's degree is desirable.Green Belt / Black Belt Certification, Lean Manufacturing Certification, Six Sigma is desirable.Minimum 9 years of experience and training within the Medical industry, preferably.More than 5 years of experience and/or training in similar positions, preferably.Knowledge of the requirements of Quality Systems such as ISO and QSR.Ability to identify Improvement opportunities and implement World Class Manufacturing practices such as JJPS including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ME2 concepts.Excellent written and oral English and Spanish communication skills for different organizational levels.Knowledge of Operations Management, including resources, capacity planning, and Project Management.Knowledge of Financial concepts applied to manufacturing, including budgets and cost control.Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
