**Manufacturing Operations Director**
Mandatory: Multisite plant manager or director - Automotive Industry.
A premium manufacturer in Mexico is searching for a Manufacturing Operations Director.
The incumbent is responsible for the fully operational manufacturing for various facilities at regional level.
Set the strategic plan and review progress of the established operational KPI's as well as to plan future businesses, includes general supervision of all phases of the Plants Operations: Production, quality, maintenance, receiving, and shipping.
Execution of initiatives to meet cost-effective business objectives: In Production, Quality, Delivery, Finance, Safety and Environment areas and all related activities focused to the satisfaction of the internal and / or external customer.
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Preferred qualifications: Master's degree, Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Bilingual: English - Spanish, Excellent communications skills.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience as Managerial positions, Plant Manager or Director for Multisite automotive plants.
- Proven experience of P&L and financial indicators management, Facility capital planning, budgeting, strategic planning, and resources allocations.
- Expertise in working with world-class principles, lean manufacturing techniques, transactional lean, deploying and sustaining a production system and significant change management efforts.
- Experience and broad understanding of safety systems, enforcement a culture of safety environment.
- Strong leadership management skills, supervisory of managers level, leading manufacturing teams.
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example, Strong team building, Negotiation, decision-making and people management skills.
