If so, we want to hear from you!About the Role: As a Manufacturing Process Engineer - Battery Assembly, you will be at the forefront of implementing new manufacturing technologies for electric propulsion systems. This role involves working with suppliers, multiple customers, and departments, making strong communication skills and a results-driven, customer-focused attitude essential.This position offers significant personal growth potential within a consultancy that works with multiple customers and sectors. Additionally, there are exciting opportunities for periodic European and Overseas travel to collaborate with technology-leading suppliers.Developing and implementing assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Planning, developing, and implementing installation timing plans with key suppliers.Ensuring robust process planning, including build simulations and PFMEA's.Verifying assembly processes and equipment at suppliers and manufacturing facilities.Managing technical issues and escalating when appropriate.Achieving equipment capability and availability targets.Supporting the resolution of technical issues as needed.Planning, developing, and implementing all written processes for manufacturing, as well as all tooling, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing.Qualifications Required:Previous experience in Manufacturing/Engineering processes, tools, and techniques with a hands-on approach to engineering.Experience in facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning, and product launch.Ability to work within cross-functional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to launch.Proficiency in using CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models (e.G., Catia V6 & Teamcentre).Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing systems.Strong problem-solving skills for technical and manufacturing issues.Working understanding of process creation systems.Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative.Please note that during a period you will work from Mexico in a home office and then, when you travel to Europe, you will work on-site.Attention to detail is crucial for this position; please read carefully.#J-18808-Ljbffr
