We are driven by a common purpose to make a positive impact for each other, our communities, and the environment.About the JobWe are searching for a talented and motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to deploy and support customized automated optical active alignment and test machines and processes. You will be based in our Guadalajara, Mexico factory and may need occasionally travel to other sites in Mexico and North America.Essential**Responsibilities**:- Hands-on process development to set up, optimize and qualify custom active alignment and test machines.- Work closely with the Jabil work cell and customer technical teams to bring the manufacturing systems and processes from the early design phases through mass production.- Define and perform experiments to improve process and product quality, reduce cycle time, and improve yield.- Analyze and present production data to understand process and product performance.- Develop, maintain, and execute design documents, technical evaluations, test plans, functional specifications, and validation protocols- Work with cross functional teams to perform hands-on and remote troubleshooting and debug of electro-mechanical systems.- Prepare machine and process operation manuals, standard operating procedures, and other technical documentation.- Participate in project planning, technical reviews, and status meetings.- Identify machine and process issues and document recommended changes to improve yield, cycle time, and machine reliability.- Manage project tasks and activities to meet project schedule and budget goals.**Requirements**:- Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with automated equipment in manufacturing facilities.- Strong hands-on problem solving / debugging skills.- Strong statistical analysis skills revolving around manufacturing (i.E. GRR, capability studies, T-Tests and correlation analysis).- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.- Work well in a team environment.- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing prioritiesDesired Skills- Familiarity with any of the following: optics, image sensor and/or electronics manufacturing knowledge, adhesive properties & material evaluation, DFX, PFMEA, optical theory, precision automation.- Experience with Python or IEC 61131 for programmable controllers or other similar programming languages
