Job Description - Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer (0091SH) Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer - 0091SH Schneider Electric is looking for a Quality Engineer in Tijuana B.C. Turno 4 (Viernes a Lunes de 6am a 6pm).
Mission
- Identify non-quality factors continuously, conduct or have other departments conduct in-depth analyses and monitor quality improvement plans.
- Identify potential issues before they occur and implement preventive solutions.
- Solve quality manufacturing issues affecting customers quickly and effectively through containment, correction, and prevention steps.
- Plan and take any necessary actions to provide adequate confidence/evidence that a product or service will satisfy given contractual/explicit customer requirements.
- Conduct audits and analyze results as specified by quality systems and methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that a product or service will satisfy customer requirements and drive continuous quality improvement, coordinating with quality manufacturing/logistics assurance engineers and quality control teams.
- Support components quality issues and supplier communications.
- Oversee the quality of one or several production sectors.
- Provide inputs and challenge quality for new products or product evolution (PMP and Optimize Process (ex-PEP)).
- Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied.
- Lead continuous improvement on production lines and root cause analysis of quality issues.
- Create and maintain quality control documentation.
- Lead Process Audits and Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Manage derogations.
- Identify potential issues before they occur and implement preventive solutions.
- Solve quality manufacturing issues affecting customers quickly and effectively through containment, correction, and prevention steps.
Qualifications Requirements:
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Availability to cover Turno 4 (Viernes a Lunes de 6am a 6pm).
- Experience with components quality issues.
- Advanced English level.
- Experience in identifying non-quality factors continuously, conducting in-depth analyses, and monitoring quality improvement plans.
- Experience in welding process desired.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with quality improvement tools, techniques, and models.
- Knowledge of statistical quality techniques and analysis.
