**Sr. Engineer, Manufacturing**
Responsible for performing high specialized professional tasks related to the analysis, design, validation, implementation and follow-up production process, methods and workloads, equipment operation standards and every other regulation to produce efficiently and with quality. It includes systematical revision of information and operative reports, looking for opportunity areas to increase productivity and quality and to reduce costs.
**Responsabilities**
- Coordinate Engineering Changes as dictated by customer or product requirements on existing program lines.
- Lead cross functional teams as required to complete engineering changes, new program set ups, Coordinate Engineering Changes as dictated by customer or product requirements on existing program lines.
- Collaborate with Design groups to ensure feasibility of product and effective transition to manufacture.
- Develop and implement innovative process solutions and proposals for new products or processes.
- Analyze and determine equipment, facilities and support requirements for new equipment or processes.
- Designs the complex layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Able to provide optimization of assembly lines using work flow analysis, time and motion study, ergonomics and human factors analysis.
- Estimate packaging cost for new products
- Develop packaging for new products.
- Participation in initiatives focused on process improvement and cost reduction of existing lines.
- Provide analysis of current processes using value stream mapping, data analysis, PFMEA, etc.
- Set production rates thru use of industrial engineering tools such as time studies and line balancing.
- Responsible for the control of ISO procedures as they relate to the Engineering Department.
- Responsible for control of plant assets in the financial areaComply with the environmental, safety and health requirements set forth in the legislation and regulations related to our activities and products, as well as those EHS requirements established by the community, our clients and others to which we are subscribed.
**Education or experience**
- BS degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or equivalent
- 5-8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Internal collaborator: at least 1 year in current position
**Skill/ knowledge requirements**
- English > 85%. Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and able to read
- Knowledge in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering practices

- Able to create Engineering documents such as process flow diagrams, PFMEA's, line and area layouts.
