You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) culture of Baker Hughes, as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.The duration is from 6 months to 12 months, starting January 2025 through July or December 2025As an Intern, you will be responsible for:Assisting with the day-to-day manufacturing operations, which may include monitoring equipment, overseeing processes, and ensuring production goals are met.Participating in quality control and quality assurance processes, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications.Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in manufacturing operations.Collecting and analyzing data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality.Learning and applying principles of lean manufacturing to minimize waste, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity.Preparing reports, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM-related or business-related program.Have maintained a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country.Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.Be able to relocate for the duration of your internship (locations vary).Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying without sponsorship or time restrictions
