**JOB PURPOSE**:Performs basic activities to assist in the manufacture and assembly of various products per established facility processes including set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance and production operation.
**RESPONSABILITIES**:
Conducting basic equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustained production.
Operating basic production equipment and tools in the manufacture, assembly and packaging of various products.
Following blueprints, guidelines, diagrams and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Assisting as part of manufacturing team in modifying existing equipment or designing new equipment for continual manufacturing process improvement, as well as quality control and in-process production testing.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- **Scholarship**:Industrial, mechanical, mechatronic or related engineering
- **Experience**:Minimum 5 years of experience in metalworking manufacturing processes.
- **English **level**:Basic

- **Decision Making and Critical Thinking**:Working Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- **Judgment and Decision Making**:Basic Understanding of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
- **Engineering - MFG**: Basic Understanding of processes, techniques and methods of engineering in a manufacturing environment; ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention.
- **Manufacturing Equipment**:Basic Understanding of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
- **Manufacturing Processes**:Working Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
- **Manufacturing Safety**:Working Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
- **Lean Manufacturing**:Basic Understanding of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Training as a 6 Sigma Green Belt
- 6 Sigma Green Belt project leader
- Participation in continuous improvement projects (Lean)
- Knowledge in SPC
- Knowledge in Autocad
