This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data, and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments, and individuals for their own use.Key ResponsibilitiesRoot Cause and Reliability Analysis and taking ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause analysis projects are documented.Analyzing equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques.Key role designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.Evaluating effectiveness of maintenance procedures and adjusting as necessary to increase the lifetime of our assets.Experiences/Education - RequiredEducation: Technical degree in Engineering.5 years of experience in the industrial maintenance area.Experience handling Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Project management.Understanding and experience of Lean Manufacturing.Management and control of maintenance costs.Spare parts and tooling management.Root cause analysis experience.Problem Solving.Technical Learning.Managing Time.Written communications.Demonstrate Drive & Commitment.Dealing with Ambiguity.Demonstrating Initiative.Ethics & Values.Communicating Effectively.Corning Puts YOU First!We are committed to supporting your health, financial, career development, and life goals as you grow professionally and personally to achieve your highest potential.
