.Manufacturing Training Specialist - Bilingual in English and SpanishJob Category: General AdministrationRequisition Number: MANUF005348Posted: November 29, 2024Employment Type: Full-TimeLocationsShowing 1 locationUnder limited supervision with effective teamwork between all plant Training Specialists across the company ensures production employees are being onboarded properly, program content is delivered to target audience in a timely manner, performs LMS administration, and represents Reser's as a training professional.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks with newly hired and temporary assignment Production employees to facilitate onboarding tasks including new hire orientation, compliance training, HR overview, general job expectations and essential manufacturing safety and food quality practices.Partners with operations, HR, safety, and food quality leadership to ensure new hire orientation and onboarding training, documentation, and processes are aligned and delivered to production employees.Assists Production management team in providing additional feedback and suggestions on what training may be missing or needed to effectively onboard and retain new employees.May provide best practices and learning methodologies for subject-matter experts who perform on-the-job skills training on the production floor most effectively.May observe and coach production employees as deemed appropriate based on daily interactions and observations.Provides administrative duties supporting the use of the LMS and other production systems, including compliance training oversight, record keeping, reporting, and system licenses.Produces and delivers timely communication to market programs, inform management, and support learning objectives and training reinforcement efforts for their plant.Participates in the content development and training delivery for courses/programs as needed.Serves as a resource for Production employees to either answer or direct employees to appropriate resources whenever there are questions pertaining to work processes, operation of machinery, food quality and workplace safety.May provide retraining to employees after injuries, near misses or procedural changes as needed.Continually develops personal training skills and capabilities as well as computer systems knowledge as required.Job SpecificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent experience.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.Minimum of 6 months on-the-job training delivery or classroom training.2-5 years Food Manufacturing experience is preferred with knowledge of the machinery used on the production floor.Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills required.Must have strong interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.Understanding adult learning theory desired.Practical knowledge about lean manufacturing (continuous improvement) preferred.Experience in Maintenance or Sanitation a plus
