**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Develop solutions for the Vishay Parts Library; support requests from Vishay sales teams, Distribution partners, and customers including analysis of Reference Design bill-of-materials on a daily basis.
- Work closely with Sales & Distribution partners to coordinate design activity as required to win share, revenue, and new designs - this includes technical training and positioning of Vishay products within distributor design systems.
- Coordinate relevant activity as required with key contacts at 3rd party IC vendors and Vishay product marketing with regards to positioning Vishay products in IC reference designs.
- Provide information to Vishay sales/marketing as it relates to the evolving market so that customer technical trends are clearly understood, and strategies adjusted as required. This includes data on the competitive landscape.
- Role expansion opportunity to meet with customers to develop/maintain relationships for revenue growth and design activities. Special focus on support of engineering and design support at strategic accounts. This includes monitoring and supporting new/emerging accounts and segments both directly and indirectly.
- Provide timely reports as requested by management - monthly narratives and metrics related to amount of technical sales collateral produced.
- Communication and alignment with Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Sales, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Legal in support of the entire organization.
- Continuous training for Vishay products and processes so that the results that are achieved meet the company's direction. Comprehension of Vishay technical benefits for focus and established technologies.
- Strong presentation skills; this includes creating and presenting for both training and customer meetings.
**Position Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in power and analog circuit design, test, sustaining engineering, or component engineering.
- Strong knowledge of power semiconductors and passive component technologies.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to work without supervision. Dependable, trustworthy self-starter.
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills; this includes creating and presenting for both training and customer meetings.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Public speaking experience desired.
- Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel (PivotTables, Power Query), PowerPoint, MS Access or Database equivalent software experience desired.
- Travel (< 20%) visiting customers, sales personnel and distributors may be applicable.
