The Marketing Automation Lead will be a Marketo Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will be responsible for the design, testing, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns within the Marketo platform as well as maintaining database health and best practices.
This role is to be based in our Guadalajara office and offers a hybrid working schedule, with at least 3 days per week spent in the office.
In This Role You Will: Use Marketo to build, deploy, and monitor critical demand generation programs, such as engagement programs, trigger, and batch campaigns, email, webinar, and live event programs. Activities include program flow builds, email creation, landing page creation, form creation, list uploads, and data management. Partner with internal stakeholders, in North America, EMEA & APAC, to execute best in class Marketo programs in support of the buyer journey, including demand generation and pipeline acceleration. Maintain data hygiene to ensure accurate segmentation and targeting. Implement marketing automation best practices, ensure proper end-to-end testing of all programs, and increase database growth through continued optimization. Deliver reporting and analysis on program performance, conversion, attribution, and effectiveness. Ensure all program assets and data management programs adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), CCPA, CASL, and email laws such as CAN-SPAM. Role Requirements: Minimum 3-4 years' experience within the Marketo platform with proven technical proficiency. Marketo Certified Expert preferred. Must know how to implement dynamic programs, including template coding, analysis, legislation, authentication and sender reputation systems, deliverability, and general industry trends and metrics. Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - specifically building emails and landing pages that are responsive, as necessary to ensure proper rendering in all major email clients and browsers, as well as on all device types. Functional knowledge of digital marketing ecosystems, content marketing, paid and owned media, as it relates to marketing automation. Functional knowledge of third-party tools that integrate with Marketo, such as Salesforce, chatbots, ad programs, and ABM programs. Self-starter who is highly accountable and communicative. Excellent English written and verbal communications. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment and manage multiple projects across multiple groups.
