Marketing Data Scientist

**Role responsibilities**:- Works with project team to understand problem statements, initiatives, and direction.- Builds statistical models to evaluate the impact of marketing activities for HP.- Stays up to date with technology and trend shifts.- Collaborates and communicates with project team regarding project progress and proactively identifies solutions to issues.- Collaborates with project team and lead Data Scientists.- Typically partners with high-level Individual Contributors and Managers.- Supports projects requiring data engineering solutions expertise.
**Role Requirements**:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Biology, Computer Science, or equivalent.- Typically 3-5 years of experience - it may include also graduate or postgraduate research.- Experience with R and Python for data manipulation, visualization and statistical model development.- Effective utilization of distributed cloud-computing data science platforms.- Ability to create compelling stories with data to describe and communicate data insights.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
