Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, is headquartered in Plymouth, MI, operates more than 20 facilities and employs about 4,700 people across the Americas.
**Responsibilities**:- Develops solutions that meet customer's expectations and technical requirements for Automotive OEM customers.
Primary focus is sealing products for automotive dampers and steering systems.- Determines feasible market approaches and present to management.- Analyzes product fit, network opportunities, and market accessibility and entry.- Manages and discusses price proposals, seeks out market adjustment opportunities, and remains current on the market price.- Drive portfolio analysis and profitability reviews.
Work closely with management and controlling to improve profitability.- Manage customer quoting process and track win rate.- Work closely with global sales and marketing teams in the Americas, Europe and Asia.- Propose global strategic initiatives regarding the development of the business, including focus, roadmap, and market analysis.- Identifies strategic gaps and seeks out business opportunities in other potential markets.- Leads by example and in-line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct.
**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field (Business or Engineering); advanced degree preferred- 5+ Years of Automotive Industry-relevant sales or marketing experience- 3+ Years of Leadership and Management experience in a sales and/or marketing environment.- Professional-Level Spanish and English language skills required- Ability to travel (including international) 25% of time.- Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders.
