The Data Specialist is pivotal in the Data Management team. He or she plays a vital role in creating and maintaining master data records (vendors, materials, and customers) through adherence to standardised workflows. This role significantly contributes to the overall quality of master data, ensuring accurate and efficient initiation and completion of data requests.
- Create and maintain Master Data records in accordance with data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that the correct information is captured in the data request.
- Initiate data requests on the Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and verify data accuracy.
- Monitor data quality and perform regular data audits to identify and rectify inconsistencies or errors.
- Contribute to developing and continuously improving data management processes and workflows.
- Support data governance initiatives and comply with data security and privacy regulations.
- Create and maintain Master Data records in accordance with data standards, policies, and procedures.

And any other task assigned by the Line Manager.
- Experience in data management is preferred, as well as a strong understanding of master data management principles.
- Familiarity with MDM concepts is advantageous. We provide training on our platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with business users to ensure compliance with global standards for master data creation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
Understanding the FMCG industry and business domains such as Commerce, Supply Chain, and Finance is beneficial.
