**What your background should look like**:**_Responsibilities:_**- Strong understanding of Material Resource Planning systems: MRP, PP, Materials Requisitions.- Schedule production loads considering available materials and capacity.- Plan within MRP system to maintain acceptable inventory levels.- Work directly with production leaders to set and prioritize, daily, weekly and monthly production plans.- Review and release material to cover requirements and track delivery from suppliers.- Track and Provide Planning and Materials requirements information in daily Tier meetings.- Aid VSM and Materials Manager in achievement of performance targets, including delivery, inventory, and cost avoidance/cost reduction,- Serve as cross functional liaison to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.- Support the TEOA initiatives which are related to Lean Production (e.G. Value Stream Mapping, Pull Flow) to ensure that assigned or requested tasks are accomplished**_Requirements and Skills:_**- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related engineering discipline- Minimum 3+ years of experience as Planner/Buyer, Production Scheduler.- Understanding of Lean Concepts (Standard Work, Visual Management, KanBan, 5S, etc.) through PDCA.- Experience working in automotive plants.- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.- Expertise in Computer skills (SAP R/3, MS Excel, Power Point, and Word).- Strong analytical and organization skills.- Trained in APICS CPIM modules.- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO14001- Follow the Company's policies and Rules- Follow the Quality System and Environmental System**Competencies**:Values: Integrity, Accountability,Teamwork, Innovation**At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
