The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere's ongoing investment in emerging markets.**Main Responsabilities**:- Drives material requirements and creates product schedules as well as interfactory schedules based on actual and forecast customer demand, production capabilities, current inventories and transportation time for a factory or portions of a factory with less complexity. May balance a portion of the factory workforce requirements. May supervise lower level materials personnel. May forecast the attachment/bundles and option requirements.- Creates and maintains master production schedules. Issues build sheets.- Updates information in the Demand Management Database.- Maintains schedules in the operating system based on forecast.- Communicates Engineering Change Decisions to production.- Ensures computer systems accurately reflect material requirements as driven by forecast and actual orders.- Maintains a shipping schedule.- Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from Order Fulfillment, Marketing, Engineering, etc. to discuss current and future schedules and forecast.- Creates optimized build sequence that honors manufacturing constraints and delivery date promised to the customer**What Skills You Need**:Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job:- Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.- Understanding of bills of material.- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations.- Understanding of manufacturing databases and inputs
