**Main Responsibilities**:- Creates and maintains master production schedules.
Issues build sheets.- Maintains schedules in the operating system based on forecast.- Updates information in the Demand Management Database.- Maintains a shipping schedule.- Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from Order Fulfillment, Marketing, Engineering, etc.
to discuss current and future schedules and forecast.- Creates optimized build sequence that honors manufacturing constraints and delivery date promised to the customer.- Communicates Engineering Change Decisions to production.- Ensures computer systems accurately reflect material requirements as driven by forecast and actual orders.
**What Skills You Need**:- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations.- Understanding of manufacturing databases and inputs.- Understanding of bills of material.- Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Manufacturing and/or operations experience.- Experience working in one or more operations support functions such as warehousing, logistics, etc.- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling.- Cross functional work exp in multiple areas, i.E., accounting, product eng, quality, manufacturing ops, warehousing/ distribution, production employee supervision, supply mgmt, marketing, HR, industrial eng, etc.- Experience with Production Control systems**Education**:- Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management or equivalent experience
