As a Material Analyst/Sr.Material Analyst, You Will: Identify and drive improved inventory turnover velocity in all distribution locations Accountable for the development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to inventory control for parts, supplies, and equipment Mapping and benchmarking current warehouse processes (all aspects of the physical warehousing processes).Continually identifying areas for efficiency improvement/waste reduction Putting together, implementing, and completing efficiency improvement action plans to ensure timely and on-budget completion, and to ensure efficiency gains are achieved Leads the design and implementation of distribution processes and foundational distribution systems that improve service or efficiency, increase productivity, and reduce costs Manage inventory accuracy for distribution centers across the United States Operational support for Logistics and Supply Chain functions Responsible for creating and maintaining monthly Key Performance Indicators Act as the main point of contact for PLs and cross docks Collaborate with IT on improvement initiatives Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation, assist with solution development and implementation WHO YOU ARE:You collaborate with distribution centers to identify system and process improvements to improve inventory accuracy and drive RDSL improvements to satisfy customers.You communicate clearly and effectively with facilities across the footprint, as well as to leaders within the business.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong technical aptitude with inventory control systems.Knowledge of key inventory and supply chain performance metrics.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, mostly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data mining) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and desire to work with data Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management Excellence in problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and often ambiguous environment Ability to react quickly to change without hesitation Attention to detail with superior organizational skills, passion for driving change, and a keen curiosity Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management plus five (+) years experience Working knowledge of modern analytical tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Crystal Reports, etc.APICS certification
