**Main Responsabilities**:- Develop comprehensive material flow designs covering the entire Bill of Materials for new products and factory expansion.- Design innovative material flow strategies for diverse materials across production lines.- Integrate forklift-free delivery methods to enhance safety and efficiency.- Improve and design predictive models for material handling labor, warehouse space, and equipment needs.- Conduct capacity planning calculations to ensure accurate resource and equipment allocation.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance, to implement optimal material flow strategies.- Work with Manufacturing and Factory Design teams to create detailed material flow lineside layouts.- Develop cost-effective, sustainable packaging and part presentation solutions for automated and manual handling.
**What Skills You Need**:- Experience with layout design in AutoCAD, including greenfield facility layouts and material flow- Experience in material handling equipment design/implementation, including automated systems- 2+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering, with a focus on material flow, supply chain, or process improvement (internships considered)- Demonstrated leadership driving projects with diverse teams in high-volume manufacturing environments- Experience with layout design in AutoCAD, including greenfield facility layouts and material flow- SAP**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Proficiency in Excel (VBA preferred) and experience with data visualization/analysis tools
