The Material Handling Manager is responsible for material handling functions supporting inventory control and manufacturing environments. Coordinates and directs activities involving the receiving, storing and physical control of all raw materials. Manages the flow of goods in the most effective, expeditious, and cost effective manner. All of these activities are to be managed in accordance with the company's goals of safety, quality, regulatory preparedness, financial performance, environmental mission, inventory controls and customer service.General Responsibilities- Responsible for all aspects of material handling functions- Supervises movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies and verifies the accuracy of work performed- Enters information into a computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, retrieve stored data, or respond to inquiries about inventory levels or delivery schedules- Manages goods received and distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items- Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges- Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines- Handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines- Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are metExperience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.E.
