Come, join us on this journey!British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Material Planner in Monterrey.Responsible for ensuring the raw material requirements of the factories are met with no interruption to supply continuity. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders raising and expediting material orders to mitigate potential issues and avoid any production disruption.Your key responsibilities will include:Place purchase orders for materials in line with supplier lead times to meet the multiple requirements of the factory production plan in SAP and the rapid response system.Ensure that the material coverage period is sufficient, while maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier pricing.Maintain target stock levels within the factory.Execute all cost reduction activities initiated by procurement, factory, etc.Arrange the delivery of materials with the supplier to the factory and, when necessary, resolve any logistics issues.Enter master data in SAP and rapid response system for new materials.Explore opportunities to improve the efficiency of planning and ordering materials.Work with the production planning team when a material shortage is identified to ensure the issue is resolved quickly with minimal impact to the factory.Work with other teams and departments to implement the phasing in and out of new/old materials as part of a controlled process (achieve agreed timelines with minimal cost).Proactively develop the relationship with the provider to improve service and performance and optimize business processes between the two parties.Support the Purchasing team on supplier billing issues, guaranteeing payment monitoring for each of them.Process devolution orders for materials rejected by the Quality Team.Highlight serious vendor issues and work with management to resolve them quickly and with minimal business impact.What are we looking for?BS in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or any equivalent qualifications.At least 1 year in direct raw material planning experience.Excellent analytical and planning skills.Good English proficiency (at least 80%).High knowledge in Excel.Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.Good organizational and prioritization skills.Knowledge in Rapid Response and SAP (Preferably).What we offer you?We offer a market-leading annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility).Our range of benefits varies by country and includes diverse health plans, initiatives for work-life balance, transportation support, and a flexible holiday plan with additional incentives
