Material Planner

**Key Functions**:- Control, order and keep the MRP updated on a daily basis- Send and confirm requirements to suppliers and maintain company purchasing policies- Daily review of the past due report, raw material shortages and compliance with the production plan- Coordinate, verify and ensure the arrival of materials on time and follow what is required in the MRP- Review and confirm the firm requirements and forecast according to each supplier- Maintain and control inventory within established parameters- Expedite raw material if necessary- Optimize inventory turnover- Plan and ensure engineering changes in order to avoid obsolescence- Contribute to process improvement to avoid schedule delays or interruptions AND anticipate potential line shutdown issues- Generate daily meetings with production to confirm availability of materials, provide help plans, support and monitoring of production changes- Participate in annual physical inventories- Plan the future inventories of the company by monitoring the jobs in the system, to ensure optimal inventories and compliance with the inventory goal in the future- Review the traffic area for the import of raw material- Prepare inventory forecasts that ensure timely supply in order to meet customer requirements and ensure optimal inventory levels- Determine the minimum and maximum requirements to ensure compliance with on time delivery**Qualifications**:- Industrial Engineer, Administration or related- 5 years of experience (automotive desirable)- Supply chain- ERP Plex is a plus- MPS- Balance Scorecard- CTPAT- Kanban- JIT- Intermediate-Advance English
