**Job Description**:
Manage master planning, prepare and update master production schedule for a multi-modal manufacturing site. Responsible for balancing the resources of the organization with customer demand, observing a perfect balance between customer service and profitability of resources such as labor, equipment, machinery and systems, to serve business customers quickly, with quality, flexibility and outstanding service.
- Create and maintain the master production schedule per customer needs, material lead times, and resource constraints to commit with customer order needs based on their first promise ship date.
- Responsible to maintain Customer Service at 95%.
- Responsible to follow in a closely manner the Acuña Plant On time service (OTS) to be at or above 98%. Influence the owners to act in order to reach this level and maintain the good results.
- A shared responsibility of inventory control, avoiding production of unnecessary products. Optimize inventory and process improvements
- Update MRP controller on new finished goods.
- Review Customer Orders Backlog and Back orders and execute action plan to sustain these needs.
- Update and communicate on a proactively manner to Customer Service on not-on-time-fulfilled customer orders.
- Plan and schedule daily Production orders in order to serve customer sales orders while working cross functionally with Engineering, Quality and Operations
- Communicate capacity and resource constraints to other business units and leadership
- Work with the materials team to identify and execute on customer change requests, pull / push opportunities and excess material consumption
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and Metrics
- Works together with business leadership
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- English and Spanish speaker, both fluently, is a must
- 3 years of experience on Materials
- 2 years of experience in Manufacturing including experience in Materials Planning and Execution, minimum
- 2 years of experience on Inventory management, minimum.
- MS Office software knowledge
