.**EMPRESA MAQUILADORA IMPORTANTE****Solicita**:Material Planning Manager (Call off Manager)****Descripción y Requisitos****SUMMARY**Leads Materials Planning Group to meet main objective (via KPI), support yearly production plan setting the adequate strategy for material availability on time and the least expensive cost. Responsible for overall inventory value management, this includes minimize excess & obsolescence (E&O), and setting the Inventory strategy for current, new models introduction and services parts. Activities include inventory level control, freight costs control, ocean container management control, supplier performance measurement, engineering changes coordination for materials. Execution of Supplier transition plans.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Set the planning strategy for long lead time supply chains,- Ocean Container Management Forecasting- Lead Time monitoring, reporting, evaluation (as a primary input for MRP process)- Setting the adequate inventory target- Foster long term communication with suppliers.- Set intelligent KPI for the Planning Organization to reflect:- Alignment with the yearly corporate goals.- Individual contribution for the Planning department strategy.- Adherence to the variable aspects (LT, Inventory Policy) of each supplier.- Meet Planning Department Strategy via monthly performance reporting.Provide a thorough root cause analysis/corrective actions of indicators out of set target.- Implement and monitor corrective actions (proven results)- Implement mitigation plans / escalation processes when required.- Implement Supplier Relationship Management Strategy- Install the process to monitor key suppliers- Deploy Supplier Relationship Management to incumbent supplier- Establish cyclical meetings/forums for SRM follow up/feedback.- Provides insight via statistical tools for overall supply chain department reliability- Monitors supplier deliveries for Lead Time statistics. (Supplier LT & Transit LT)- Monitors at pre-assigned time cycles supplier inventory policies.- Sets process for returnable container management and replenishment.- Execution of day-to-day material follow up to ensure weekly/daily production plan is met.- First level of escalation process on any shortage related issue.- Follow the written procedures per ISO guidelines.- Assist the Purchasing Department with all actions and directives with the supply base to include Pricing Changes, Part Transitions, Supplier Chargeback activities and system maintenance.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:- Bachelor's Degree.- Proficient in English/Spanish- Proficient experience in Material and/or purchasing related activities such as purchase order entry, MRP calculation (Explosion & netting), expediting, ABC analysis, cycle counts, etc.- Qualitative skills such as leadership, proactive, teamwork, professional, customer service oriented.- Develop processes, flow charts, databases, internal deviations
