We boldly go.**Job Summary**:The Material project specialist is responsible for coordinating transformational change through the development of problem-solving skills within the factory to create a lean materials flow. The expectations of this role are to drive continuous improvement by increasing customer satisfaction through on-time shipment, controlling inventory, and reducing waste in all Material's processes. The stakeholders for this position are Global Integrated Supply Chain teams, Engineering, Sales, Finance and SBU's leadership. This is the direct communication from the Materials Project/Process Improvement leader and projects members; enabling the deploymentof projects, risk mitigation plans and resource utilization.**Responsibilities**:- Coordinate Rapid Improvement Events focused on Materials Management processes.- Drive continuous improvement activities through Value Stream Analysis.- Develop, implement, and drive adherence to standard work as set by the materials council across the functions.- Align and prioritize Material's project pipeline with the Material Project leader.- Correlate information from New Product Development and Materials team.- Develop, manage, and analyze reports to conduct process performance and root cause analysis.- Document initial state and target state for processes to identify gap opportunities.- Coordinate with Materials team to improve KPIs, analyze process performance, reduce waste, and implement tools such as SixSigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, problem escalation, standard work.- Coordinate projects to reduce cycle time and improve service given to stakeholders.- Agility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.**Qualifications**- English advanced- Good comunication skills- Materials and buying and sourcing related experience- Knoledge on lean manufacturing principles- Desire knoledge in Microsoft ProjectWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs that help our employees thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
