ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assure that all supply chain department follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Procedures as defined by Nordson Medical's polices ensuring that FDA and Quality Standards are met.
Overall Materials activities:

- Developing and implementing long term goals that ensure efficiency in Supply Chain activities.
- Effectively manage team members by determining clear roles and responsibilities, managing workload and holding team accountable to deliverables, identifying development needs, and coach team members as needed.
- Supervises, teaches, and evaluates personnel in site, production control, master planner, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
- Establish programs that deliver on-going Material cost reductions.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining, and aligning company policies and procedures.
- Prepare presentations related to department and participate in management reviews as appropriate.
Production Control:

- Establishes and supervises production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking production times and reviewing other factors that affect schedules.
- Implement process to communicate production schedule to Production on a routine basis and set-up daily, weekly, and monthly processing routine that monitors shop order status and assures on time delivery to customers.
- Analyze customer forecasts and identify issues with capacity, material availability, that may risk meeting future customer demand.
- Effectively communicate and escalate as needed issues that arise which may delay on time delivery.
Develop alternative dates and work with Customer Service to update system as needed and make necessary communication to customers.
- Create and maintain recovery plans as needed to be used for both internal production scheduling and customer communication purposes to address customer backlog situations.
- Establish process for providing real time feedback on shop order and delivery status to customer service and production, including providing metrics for schedule attainment (P. vs.
A.)
and OTD as requested.
Warehouse / Shipping / Receiving:

- Create policies and procedures that facilitate effective custodianship of inventory and minimize inventory holding costs.
- Continuously monitor usage, supplier lead times, and customer demand variation to set appropriate safety stock levels and work with Purchasing to maintain these.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels to address potential stock-out situations and work with Purchasing to address issues in a pro-active manner.
- Develop and implement cycle count and year-end full physical inventory policies and procedures.
- Assure all material transactions are performed in an appropriate and timely manner (warehouse, shop floor, and shipping).
- Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Fin., an inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
- Establishing, managing, and executing inventory strategy.
- Coordinate Import & Export of merchandise & assure Custom's compliance.
- May be asked to ship products during non-business hours
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining, and aligning company policies and procedures.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
from a four-year college or university, or 5-8 years related experience
- English and Spanish fluency

COMPUTER SKILLS:

- Proficient in use Microsoft
