**We are searching for the best talent for Materials Clerk to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.**
**Purpose**:
Responsible to prepare production kits based on the production plan provided by the Production planning and scheduling team. Accountable to maintain the inventory locations as per the plan and to perform cycle count on a regular basis.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Prepares kits for issue to the floor following production planning prioritization.
- Manages inventory storage and placement (vault attendant).
- Notifies Production Planner of material shortages.
- Release batches to manufacturing through MRP System.
- Cycle count when needed.
- Follow current compliance regulations and standards.
- Perform other jobs as required.
- Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities.
- Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objectives of the plant.
- Support continuous improvement programs such Lean Manufacturing, kaizens, 6S, etc.
- Maintain accurate WIP reports vs. Production plan.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong computer skills
- Good communication skills, to interface with manufacturing, engineering, materials management, quality control, purchasing, customs and all other departments as needed.
- Good basic math skills.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems concept (MRP).
- Previous clerical experience desired.
- Previous manufacturing experience desired.
- Basic English writing and reading skills preferred.
