Materials Control ManagerRole Summary- Define regional inventory control strategies linked to the business strategies and regional supply chain strategies for Optical Connectivity Solutions (OCS)- Develops, implements, and monitors inventory control policies, procedures, and systems- Define best practices and identify gaps for the storage of goods- Works with finance to ensure consignment location inventory requirements are met- Cross functional collaboration to address inventory accuracy, storage, transaction issues- Create, distribute, and manage inventory accuracy reports- Lead team to execute physical inventory accuracy counts- Works with goods storage team to optimally consolidate material for cost- Works with plants to drive the elimination of SLOB material- Drive deployment:Set clear, well understood goals and objectives for success.- Evaluate and recommend how to optimize the inventory within logistics networks to meet customerand delivery goals.- Maximize scalability, and adaptability to change, including market and business needs.- Ensure strategic alignment to product life cycle.- Work collaboratively with Planning, Sourcing, CM, Enable, and Manufacturing Management throughout the globe in the development of accurate operational plans for inventory- Create vision for optimized inventory footprint to optimize the end to end SC Network and ensure execution and implementation based on business and customer requirements- Manage the development and approval of inventory systems roadmap in conjunction with Enable organization- Ensure proper people development plans are in place, led by Corning values**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree (Technical, Business or Supply chain)- Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain- Fluent in written and spoken English- Experience in managing a team of supply chain professionals- Experience in project management and superior organization skills- Up to 25 travel timeDesired Experiences:- Master's in Business or Supply Chain- Supply Chain / APICS certification- Multi:Lingual- LEAN and/or six Sigma certification or equivalent experienceThe Person- Ability to demonstrate a track record of influencing a variety of key stakeholders to deliver results- Ability to establish direction, work across multiple work streams, create strategy, and execute- A leader in impacting performance and delivery of internal service- Proven leadership and change management skills- Assertive with a strong results orientationPay Grade:Grade DEmployee Referral Amount:0.00
