Nordson MEDICAL works with doctors, start-ups and large medical companies around the world at any point in the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.GENERAL SUMMARY:Materials Handler will perform warehouse area activities including storing, material preparation, cycle counting, transport task, issue material, staging and bulk packaging. A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product; maintain inventory and associated records.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and SOP's as defined by Nordson's policies ensuring that FDA and Quality Standards are met.Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.Stage work orders in accordance with production schedule and attend to clean rooms in an efficient manner.Store and package materials and products as guided to ensure accuracy and prevent damage and contamination and facilitate effective custodianship of inventory.Ensure all warehouse material transactions are performed accurately and timely.Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.Maintain tooling and fixture inventory and associated records.Maintain order and cleanliness of Warehouse area.Track material consumption and advise Warehouse Supervisor when high material consumption is detected.Participate in cycle count and year-end physical inventory activities.Every employee must work following Nordson's safety manual guidelines at all times and is expected to have good manners to assure the highest level of working environment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily.
